Ox Hill Baptist Church may use SMS messaging for conversational, informational, ministry-related, and fundraising communications. Ox Hill Baptist Church does not sell, rent, transfer, or disclose consumer personal information to external organizations for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This protection includes mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in records, consent information, and related messaging data.
Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and messaging consent will not be shared or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No external organization is permitted to use this information to market or promote its own products, services, activities, or causes.
We may provide limited access to personal information when strictly necessary for contracted service providers acting solely on behalf of Ox Hill Baptist Church to deliver services requested by the individual, including SMS delivery. These contracted processors may access and process information only for the limited service they provide to the church. They are not authorized to retain, sell, share, transfer, or use the information for their own marketing, promotional, or unrelated purposes.
Other disclosures are limited to the legal, safety, and individually authorized circumstances described in Section 4 of this Privacy Policy.
Access to consumer personal information is limited to authorized personnel, volunteers, and contracted processors with a legitimate need to perform church-related responsibilities or provide requested services. Ox Hill Baptist Church maintains administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to prevent unauthorized access, sharing, use, transfer, or disclosure of personal information.
Because SMS is not an appropriate channel for highly sensitive or confidential information, recipients should not send detailed medical, financial, counseling, safeguarding, or other sensitive personal information by text. When appropriate, Ox Hill Baptist Church may move a conversation to a more suitable communication method.

Opting out of SMS messages does not automatically unsubscribe a recipient from email, telephone, postal mail, or other church communications. Recipients may contact us to update preferences for other communication methods.

Church activities may involve children and youth. Information about minors may be collected through registrations, permission forms, emergency-contact forms, and ministry participation records. When appropriate, we collect this information from or with the authorization of a parent or legal guardian.
We use information about minors only for ministry administration, communication, safety, participation, and other purposes described when the information is collected.
